Premio AVA a.s. 2012-2013 - in memoria di Alda Madeo Varvello

Premio AvaPremio AvaIl Premio Ava è un concorso letterario riservato alle sole studentesse di Istituti Tecnici, Commerciali e Professionali.

Il premio è stato istituito nel 2000 per ricordare la scrittrice Alda Madeo Varvello, che scriveva con lo pseudonimo di Ava.

Il bando di concorso, prevede la scrittura di un racconto o di una novella breve ed ha come obiettivo quello di "incentivare quelle ragazze, che magari già hanno un racconto nel cassetto, a coltivare la passione dello scrivere”.

Il premio, patrocinato dall'Ordine Nazionale dei Giornalisti, dal 2008 viene pubblicizzato Soroptimistin tutta Italia grazie alla capillare azione del Soroptimist Club Valsesia e di tutti i Soroptimist Club d’Italia, che ne curano la diffusione agli istituti professionali, tecnici e commerciali dei rispettivi territori di competenza.

studentesse vicentine Quest'anno scolastico 2012-2013 ben sette studentesse dell'Istituto Fusinieri hanno partecipato al premio AVA con i loro racconti.
Sabato 27 ottobre 2012, presso il Centro Congressi di Palazzo d’Adda a Varallo Sesia (Vc), si è tenuta la cerimonia di premiazione delle studentesse che sono state selezionate tra le circa 100 partecipanti alla XIII edizione del concorso letterario nazionale.

Alla presenza del sindaco della città, Eraldo Botta, Aldamaria Varvello - insieme alla sorella Alberta e al fratello Attilio hanno ricordato, con questa iniziativa, la mamma Alda Madeo Varvello.
Le sette studentesse del Fusinieri, accompagnate dalla Dirigente prof.ssa Adriana Campesan e dal prof. Mario Ziche ai quali si sono aggiunti anche alcuni genitori, hanno partecipato alla cerimonia.
Il viaggio a Varallo Sesia è stato offerto dal Soroptimist club di Vicenza la cui Presidente, dott.ssa Marina Bertazzoni, si è dimostrata particolarmente attenta e sensibile nonché entusiasta per il successo riscontrato "dalle giovani scrittrici vicentine".
