classe 4A AFM

 

Il 13 Gennaio la classe 4A AFM e le professoresse accompagnatrici, Rossella Lucherini e Alida Castello, sono partite per un viaggio d'istruzione a Londra, non solo per l'importanza della città, ma anche un'occasione per un miglioramento personale della lingua inglese.

Per il soggiorno hanno scelto un ostello in New Kent Road, a circa tre chilometri dalla metropoli, e per fortuna loro, con cuoco italiano.   

Londra, una delle principali capitali europee, è una città  ricca di culura e luoghi da visitare, abitata da milioni di persone, molte delle quali provengono da paesi e culture diverse da quella anglosassone. Città molto grande, ma merita di essere visitata in ogni suo dove, per le sue atmosfere, peculiarità e per i suoi monumenti.

I cinque giorni trascorsi nella metropoli hanno permesso ai ragazzi e alle insegnanti di visitare svariate piazze, giardini, musei, monumenti, tra i quali il British  Museum, il Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Westminster Abbey (dove si sposarono Carlo e Diana), Covent Garden, St Paul's Cathedral, Hide Park, Oxford Street, Trafalgar Square, la National Gallery, London Eye (la grande ruota panoramica che domina il Tamigi), Piccadilly e anche i grandi magazzini Harrod's.

Nonostante le molte ore di cammino e nonostante il tempo che ogni tanto lasciava qualche lacrima, Londra ha permesso ai ragazzi di tornare con molteplici ricordi e con molteplici cose da raccontare ad amici e famiglia.
